The delegation included a variety of activities, including:
Joint workshops and classes with German students – Participation in workshops and classes alongside German students, including discussions on the role of physical education within the German education system. The program introduced teaching methods and pedagogical approaches practiced in both Israel and Germany, while providing opportunities for collaborative activities and professional dialogue on teaching, teamwork, and multicultural education.
Learning about teacher education in Germany – Exposure to German teacher education programs, including curriculum design, assessment models, and the integration of academic studies with school-based practicum. Participants observed physical education lessons, examined lesson plans, and became familiar with instructional strategies, feedback practices, and approaches to creating supportive learning environments.
Field-based practical experiences – Participation in outdoor activities and experiential learning, including a slackline workshop, rock climbing, creative workshops, and team games. These activities emphasized the integration of motor skill development with the cultivation of self-confidence, personal responsibility, teamwork, and resilience in the face of challenges—core values underpinning physical education in Germany.
Experiencing the local culture – Guided visits to the university campus, botanical gardens, the palace, and the Black Forest region. Direct interaction with the local environment and German students enriched participants' understanding of German culture, everyday life, and the social context in which the German education system operates.
