About Us

Kibbutzim College of Education (KCE), based in Tel Aviv, is Israel’s largest academic college for teacher education and a leading institution in education, therapy, and the arts. With roots dating back to 1939, KCE combines a longstanding tradition in educator preparation with a forward-looking approach to the evolving needs of Israeli society. With approximately 6,000 students and more than 800 faculty members, KCE prepares the educators, therapists, artists, and educational leaders who shape communities across Israel.

KCE offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate degree programs across diverse disciplines, as well as Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) programs, professional training programs, and continuing education courses. Our academic programs combine rigorous scholarship, research, and extensive field-based learning, connecting theory and knowledge creation with professional practice from the earliest stages of study.

Through collaboration with schools, communities, hospitals, mental health and therapeutic organizations, and public institutions across Israel and abroad, students and faculty engage directly with the field.
