Training principles in ball games

The subjects learned in this course are: The underlying principles of physical education; how teaching physical education is different from physical training; the principles of training in sports; sport training systems; training units; training cycles; training programs for longer terms; applying physiological principles in physical training. We also discuss: the philosophy of training; using psychology in school team training; other aspects of school team training. A one year course.

Fitness room training

This course reviews the following subjects: the history of the fitness room in the world and in Israel; a description of the fitness room; the principles of training in a fitness room; methods of developing physical fitness. In addition students learn; to make a fitness plan for a prospective client and learn to use effectively; the apparatus and equipment for body building and fitness.

Aerobic dancing

In this course the student learns: the skills needed to prepare and lead aerobic dancing classes; teaching methods for groups with different levels of ability; the principles of group, aerobic training. The course includes: practice training lessons, training workshops and lectures.

Swimming

Students learn the basics of floating and swimming; the different styles and exercises in swimming and the various games and exercises used in teaching children to swim; rules and judging; training the school team; advanced training methods in swimming.

Movement Ergonomics and Movement Education in Living Environments

Students study the science of Ergonomics in all its aspects, especially those dealing with Stability Development. Students will learn about injuries in the workplace and how some of them are caused because of unsuitable working surroundings, Insuitability of the working conditions and the correction of this situation through the introduction of proper tools or by making the working environment safer is the purpose of the science of Ergonomics. A yearly course.
